Hey there, Reader! If you're a new subscriber, I'd like to wish you a warm welcome to this newsletter! And if you're a long-time subscriber, I want you to know that I'm really glad to reconnect with you. It has been a while since we last spoke. So allow me to take a moment to recap what has happened since the last newsletter I sent you on November 12th, 2025. In a nutshell, I succumbed to burnout. I felt physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. I won't go into details again because I already described my experience with burnout in this newsletter titled From creative burnout to empowerment: What happened in 4 months. (Read the email if you want to learn about my experience with creative burnout.) Realizing that something had to change, I decided to step away from creating and publishing content because my nervous system could no longer handle the stress that I was experiencing at that time. Honestly, stepping away from work and business was one of the hardest decisions of my life. But in my heart, I knew it was the right decision because health is one of my core values. Therefore, I decided to make health my number one priority because, as the wise saying goes, “Health is wealth.” When I sent you that last newsletter in November of 2025, my intention was to officially return to my business and start sharing content again. But as you know, life happens. And, well, I realized that I wasn't ready yet. During that difficult time, I questioned whether I would ever return to creating and publishing content because I had lost my North Star. I lost my purpose. I lost my passion. I lost my art style. As a result, I lost a huge part of my identity. Like a lighthouse shining its light through a tumultuous storm, I persevered through that dark period of my life. Then, at long last, the storm finally abated. The clouds cleared. The sun is shining. The sky is blue again. Nowadays, I feel much better. Lighter. Freer. Clarity is finally returning. In other words... To my great joy, I am now ready to return to online content creation in June 2026! Going forward, I'm committed to taking things slowly. To publish content with more intention. And most importantly, to simplify my life and business as much as possible. All in all, I feel like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis because my relationship to art, creativity, passion, and self-expression underwent a complete death and rebirth cycle. All of this healing is teaching me to walk in a new self-concept. Essentially, that means my identity is shifting. I like who I am becoming. In this brand new cycle of life, I am focused on becoming artistically and creatively empowered, embracing my authentic self-expression through art, and embracing my voice again. And I’m here to share this journey of transformation with you, Reader! To be transparent, I don't have all the answers yet. I have a vision of what I want to do and I know the general direction in which I want to steer my business. In many ways, I've decided to take a leap of faith and trust the process. That means I'm figuring things out as I go. In next week's email, I'll give you a summary of what I envision for the future of this newsletter, my content, my YouTube channel, as well as my online courses and eBooks.
