Hey there, Reader! I had an epiphany the other day! I realized that even though I took a break from art in order to heal from burnout, life obviously went on for the kind people (such as yourself) who're subscribed to my weekly newsletter. So while I rested and recharged my creative batteries for many months, a lot of you actively continued creating art. That means you likely made progress with your drawing and painting skills. No matter how big or how small, your meaningful progress deserves both recognition and celebration, Reader! That being said, this epiphany made me realize that I need to check in with you to understand where you are now on your art journey. Why? Because many people are introduced to my content as absolute beginners or beginners who have a little experience with painting and/or drawing. But are you still at that level, or have you made progress with your art skills? I would appreciate it if you answered the following question(s). Doing so will help me create content that is appropriate for your skill level! If you paint with watercolours, please answer the following question: If you draw and sketch, please answer the following question:

I almost quit making art, Reader. Making art for work and business rather than for personal enjoyment created a lot of unexpected stress in my life. It led to creative burnout, which is why I walked away from online business for nearly a year because I needed to rest and recharge. During that time, I honestly considered giving up on art and content creation because they no longer felt sustainable in our fast-paced digital world. Fortunately, working through The Artist's Way program helped me...
I hope you're having fun creating art and enjoying the summer, Reader! For me, August is always a socially engaged time of the year when I go out, have fun, and spend time with family and friends. As a result, I don't have a new video or blog post to share this week. That being said, I have a few updates I'd like to share with you. First of all, I'm really glad to announce that I finally started painting with pan and tube watercolours again. It might not seem like a big deal, but it is to me...
This one decision changed my life, Reader. The decision encouraged me to return to creating art even though I still felt somewhat creatively stuck. And it motivated me to return to my creative business even though I didn’t feel 100% ready. Making creativity a priority is the decision that changed my life for the better because I feel much more inspired, expressive, and connected to my art nowadays. I would love for you to experience a similar transformation as me, which is why I'd like to...
