New beginnings in art can reignite your imagination

I was not expecting October to be such a fast and busy month filled with tons of novelty, Reader.

For instance, over the past few weeks, I finally transformed my workspace into a mini art studio!

I've dreamed of having my own creative space for a long time, and now that dream is becoming a reality. Already, I feel that my workspace is much more inspiring. This exciting energy is fueling my imagination.

Before the month ends, the redesign will be done. When it's complete, I'm planning to film an art room/studio tour so that you can see how I optimized my small space to create a cozy, creative corner.

And now that my art supplies are better organized and easier to access, I thought it would be fun to film a YouTube video in which I show you all the art supplies in my collection.

Truth be told, it's not a huge collection. If anything, my art supplies collection is practical and reasonable. Maybe you relate?

So I'd appreciate it if you took a moment to vote in the poll below to let me know if you like this idea, Reader.

Now, let's expand this topic of novelty by addressing the fact that I've wanted to change my creative routine for a long time.

To spice things up. To push myself beyond my creative comfort zone.

So recently, I asked myself this question: "How can I add freshness to my art so that I feel more inspired?" The answer that came to me was simple: It's time to explore a new art supply.

Last year, I got a modest set of acrylic markers that I never really used because, by the time I got them, I creatively burned out. But now that I've recovered from burnout, I decided it's time to dive into the world of acrylic markers.

And I'm pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy painting with these markers!

Right now, my mini sketchbook is filled with fun acrylic marker doodles, tons of swatches, and some questionable blending experiments.

For me, the greatest takeaway is that exploring a new art supply breathed new life into my art and creative routine.

So if you read all the way to the end of this email, I encourage you to ask yourself: "What is one small change I can make today to freshen up my creative routine and reignite my imagination?"

The answer might surprise you just as much as it surprised me.

ACTION STEP: Make sure you vote in the poll above, Reader! Your vote matters because it determines the topics of my future YouTube videos.

Talk to you again soon,

Your friend,

Miranda
