Hey there, Reader! These days, our lives are busier than ever. It often seems difficult to make time for art because you have too many things to do. You have responsibilities to deal with. Your to do list never seems to end. And when you do have a bit of free time, you feel too exhausted to do anything fun. It's so frustrating! So how exactly do you find time to make art? Well, start by asking yourself this: "Is art important to me?" If art is important to you, you'll find time to enjoy it. You just need the right organization and time management strategies to help you make time for art. To help you with this endeavour, I'm sharing a blog post titled How to Make Time for Art (Busy Artist Guide). In it, I share 10 solid strategies to help you find time to make art, including:
Even if you only implement one or two of these strategies, you'll notice an increase in the amount of time that you'll have to make art.
By the time you’re done reading, you’ll realize that you actually have more time to make art than you had previously thought. But that doesn't mean you have to make art every single day if that's not realistic for you. For example, if you're busy and only able to make art a couple of times a week or for short periods of time, that's totally okay! What matters is that you make time for art more often instead of just once in a while. How often is up to you. After all, some practice is better than no practice, right? The only way to get better at art is to practice your skills regularly. So find your own art rhythm and stick to it the best you can. And even if you don't make art for a while, be gentle on yourself. Just try again. Because sooner or later you'll develop a consistent art routine. I'm always cheering you on, Reader! Hey there, Reader! For the past three weeks, we've been talking about the importance of drawing and sketching. The wonderful thing about drawing is that you're not limited to using graphite. For instance, lots of artists love creating art with graphite, pen and ink, coloured pencils, oil pastels, etc. But recently, I was introduced to an art supply that I hadn't used in forever. Like, not since elementary school! That art supply is markers....
Hey there, Reader! As an artist, it's important to make sure that you're prepared for success with your artwork.
