4 easy drawing tutorials to skyrocket your skills

Hey there, Reader!

I'd like to start off by saying a big THANK YOU to everyone who replied to last week's email.

In case you missed it, here's a summary: Last week, I asked our art community to let me know what kind of drawing and sketching content you'd like me to create. And you guys delivered!

Your responses were very insightful. All in all, it seems that many people in our art community have the desire to improve their drawing and sketching skills.

This is wonderful news because drawing and sketching skills are transferable. That means developing your drawing abilities will help you become a better watercolourist!

So now I'm in the process of using your valuable feedback to create a content calendar for the next few months.

But in the meantime, I'd like to share with you some drawing and sketching content that I've published on my blog titled How to Do Easy Sketching for Beginners (4 Awesome Tutorials).

In it, I help you understand that the ability to draw and sketch is the foundation of all artistic expertise.

Without developing this foundational skill, it'll be harder for you to progress in your art journey.

For this reason, today I’m sharing 4 easy sketching tutorials that are designed for beginners. By following these step-by-step tutorials, you’ll be able to:

  • Understand how to develop foundational skills such as form and shape, light and shadow, hatching and shading, etc.
  • Implement strategies to help you develop your sketching skills more quickly and more cleverly.

By the time you’re done reading, you’ll know how to develop an enjoyable sketching practice. Even better, you'll feel inspired the try these step-by-step tutorials!

ACTION STEP: Read the blog post and then choose at least one of the tutorials that appealed to you. Then set aside 15 - 20 minutes to complete the tutorial. Enjoy the creative process and have fun, Reader!

This one decision changed my life, Reader. The decision encouraged me to return to creating art even though I still felt somewhat creatively stuck. And it motivated me to return to my creative business even though I didn’t feel 100% ready. Making creativity a priority is the decision that changed my life for the better because I feel much more inspired, expressive, and connected to my art nowadays. I would love for you to experience a similar transformation as me, which is why I'd like to...

And do you make art you truly love, or does your art conform to societal expectations in order to...
