Here's the spotlight on the new content coming soon

Hey there, Reader!

Today, I'm giving you a behind-the-scenes look at what I envision for the future of my content.

In last week's email, I wrote this:

In this brand new cycle of life, I am focused on becoming artistically and creatively empowered, embracing my authentic self-expression through art, and embracing my voice again.

So now I'd like to share some of the ideas that I believe will support these goals. I don't have all the answers yet, but I believe sharing my thoughts with you will give me more clarity.

As such, this email is filled with several polls that you can engage with because I would appreciate your feedback. Take a moment to participate in the polls because your vote inspires the content I'll create in the near future!

🎥 More Video and Audio Content

For a while, I've wanted to connect with my audience through different formats. And I've figured out a way to do so!

In the near future, I will start publishing video versions of these newsletters. That means I'll record a video where I read the newsletter out loud, and I'll post it on YouTube for you to watch and listen to.

This way, you can enjoy my content by choosing the best format that works for you, whether that be through text or video/audio.

As well, at some point I will return to posting fun and educational art content such as tutorials, art supplies, reviews, etc. I don't know when I'll return to this endeavour because I'm still figuring out my new work flow, but I'll let you know when I do.

For now, you have my upcoming newsletter videos to look forward to. I want to share these videos at the best time for you, so please answer the question below to help me choose a day and time!

🎓 Learn With Me: More Resources Coming Soon

I used to be an English as a Second Language teacher. Now I teach online. As you can see, I love teaching!

For this reason, my goal is to publish more teaching resources to help you succeed on your journey of becoming the artist of your dreams.

I have several ideas that I believe will serve you well, but I would like your feedback, Reader.

You see, there are many ways to deliver a great teaching experience to you.

Therefore, I'd like to know this: Which format suits your preferences and meets your needs the best? Choose ONE option and vote in the poll below!

🎨 Documenting The Artist's Way Journey

Have you heard of the book titled The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron?

In a nutshell, the book shares a 12-week program that helps artists reconnect with their creativity. The goal is to achieve artistic recovery so you can unleash the artist within. You do so by learning how to unblock your creativity and overcome obstacles such as limiting beliefs, self-doubt, and fear.

As you know, I've been on a long journey of recovering from burnout.

I'm a very creative person, and I enjoy a wide range of creative hobbies including writing fantasy stories, fashion, cooking, and gardening.

However, I want to transform my relationship to painting and drawing because I've felt stuck with my artwork and my art style for a while. So, I want to reconnect with these creative passions in new and exciting ways.

Therefore, my main reason for doing The Artist's Way program is to share my journey of transformation with you in a way that feels personable and relatable because I know many of you are in the same (or a similar) situation as me.

📖 More Storytelling and Teaching Through Lived Experiences

This section is very important because it directly ties into the previous sections I mentioned.

To be honest, I'm tired of showing up mostly as "Miranda the Art Teacher."

I love teaching, but I want to express myself in more ways than simply teaching step-by-step tutorials and classes. Why? Because I'm bored of presenting myself mostly in a professional sense.

Which is kind of funny because I have a personal brand!

That means I plan to infuse more personality and emotion into my content. You see, I'm a writer and a storyteller just as much as I am a fine artist.

Going forward, I plan to share personable stories filled with lessons from my own creative journey in my weekly newsletter, YouTube videos, and blog posts.

My intention is to share what I've learned and experienced as an artist in order to inspire your own creative journey. I want you to learn from my mistakes, celebrate wins with me, and engage in friendly conversation as our creative journeys unfold in real time.

After all, in the age of AI, I believe we need human connection and community now more than ever.

🦋 A New Beginning, A New Adventure

I'm excited because I have a vision of how my content will look going forward. But truth be told, I don't know where this new creative adventure will take me.

Life throws you curveballs. Opportunities present themselves out of the blue. Things don't go according to plan. And in times like these, I'm prepared to expect the unexpected.

In other words, I'm figuring things out as I go because I'm trusting the process right here, right now.

That means I'm allowing my creative goals and aspirations to evolve. And I'm willing to follow the tide of creativity wherever she flows.

Now, enough about me. Let's focus on you. If you haven't done so already, it's time for you to take action!

ACTION STEP: Take a moment to answer the polls above. Your vote matters because it inspires the content that I'll create in the near future. So take action now to make your voice be heard, Reader!

Talk to you again soon,

Your friend,

Miranda

P.S. I'd like to say a big "THANK YOU!" to all the readers who read last week's email. As well, I'm grateful for all the readers who sent me kind and supportive emails last week. I see you, I hear you, and I appreciate you! 😊

This one decision changed my life, Reader. The decision encouraged me to return to creating art even though I still felt somewhat creatively stuck. And it motivated me to return to my creative business even though I didn’t feel 100% ready. Making creativity a priority is the decision that changed my life for the better because I feel much more inspired, expressive, and connected to my art nowadays. I would love for you to experience a similar transformation as me, which is why I'd like to...

Do you really know yourself, Reader? If social media trends and algorithms didn't influence your opinions, would you still follow those art trends? When someone criticizes you or your art, do you automatically accept their judgement as your personal truth? When your culture reinforces negative beliefs about art and creativity, do you buy into those collective stories because you're "supposed to?" And do you make art you truly love, or does your art conform to societal expectations in order to...

A HUGE creative milestone was reached today, Reader! I published a brand new video on my channel, which marks my official return to YouTube!
